Tideschart: Comprehensive tide and weather forecasting

About us

History and mission

Tideschart, an internationally recognized and trusted name in tide and weather forecasting, provides detailed marine forecasting for more than 30 million people in 182 countries annually.

Ryan Blundell, the company's founder and CEO, launched Tideschart in 2017 with a mission to provide vital information to some of the world's most remote and underserved locations. As an avid traveller, Ryan observed a significant gap in the availability of essential tide information during his visits to some of the most remote and isolated places on Earth. Many of these communities depend heavily on coastal resources and maritime activities.

Our commitment to accessibility and accuracy drives us to serve not only major coastal regions but also to areas that have historically been overlooked. We firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their location, should have access to vital oceanographic information to safeguard lives, property, and livelihoods.

Pantai Tapak Kera, Sumatra, Indonesia is just one of the many underserved areas included in the 50,000+ locations we cover worldwide, and is now accessible to speakers of 9 different languages.
